Samsung Electronics Co. will launch a training program to groom 10,000 young software engineers as part of its ambitious 180 trillion won investment plan to contribute to boosting employment and areas for future growth in the country. In August, the country`s largest conglomerate pledged to spend 180 trillion won over the next three years to ramp up its memory capacity, create 700,000 new jobs and nurture emerging industries, including artificial intelligence and fifth-generation wireless networks. More than 70 percent of that investment will be made at home. The announcement came after the company`s de facto chief Jay Y.
