The 19th World Knowledge Forum, the largest business forum in Asia hosted by South Korea’s largest business media Maekyung Media Group, has kicked off on Wednesday at the Jangchung Arena and Hotel Shilla in central Seoul for a three-day run.
More than 250 leaders from political, economic, business, and technology sectors around the world attend this year’s forum comprised of 110 sessions under the theme of “Collective Intelligence: Overcoming Global Pandemonium.”
Guest speakers include Janet Yellen, chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (2014-2018), H. R. McMaster, the 26th White House National Security Council Advisor of the Trump administration, and Kersti Kaljulaid, president of Estonia, one of the leading countries in blockchain technology.
Korea’s Deputy Prime Minister for economy Kim Dong-yeon doubling as Strategy and Finance Minister in opening address on Wednesday called for collective intelligence to address challenges around the world.
