South Korean President Moon Jae-in and Russian President Vladimir Putin met for a summit in Moscow, Russia, on Friday and agreed to support “efforts to establish complete denuclearization on the Korean peninsula” following the historic U.S.-North Korea summit. As the first sitting president visiting Russia in 19 years, Moon headed to Russia on June 21 for his third summit with Putin in search of the country’s strong support for complete denuclearization on the Korean peninsula and closer bilateral economic partnership.
