South Korea’s health care products manufacturer Naturalendo Tech Co. announced Friday that it will release its skin patch product containing hyaluronic acid in India.
The Overnight Micro Patch, named EGA-NX in India, is skin care patches designed for intensive moisturizing, skin lifting and wrinkle care. The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a powerful hydrating ingredient for skin, and epidermal growth factor (EGF), a well-known anti-aging substance, according to the company.
“We have expanded our presence in the global market following the entry into the U.S., China and India,” said an official from the company. “We will work hard to gain a firm foothold in the Indian market with our outstanding technology.”
The company’s mainstay items are Baeksuo Goong, a health supplement product for menopausal women, and Overnight Micro Patch. Its business was hit hard in 2015 when the Korea Consumer Agency found more than 60 percent of products containing Baeksuo, medicinal herb, were made with banned raw materials.
On Friday, shares of the Kosdaq-listed Naturalendo Tech fell 0.69 percent to close at 21,650 won ($19.18).
