Doosan Infracore Co., the heavy equipment unit of South Korea’s conglomerate Doosan Group, said Friday it has showcased its excavators, engines and high-end technologies at Russia’s largest industrial trade fair.
The company unveiled its wheel loader model SD300 and engine model DL08 for building equipment, ships, cars and generators at INNOPROM 2018 held from Monday to Thursday in Yekaterinburg, Russia. It also joined the additional event Russia-Korea Industrial Forum to introduce its telematics solution brand DoosanCONNECT for remote monitoring of heavy construction equipment, drawing positive response from visitors.
During the event, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Nikolayevich Kozak and many other high officials showed much interest in the Korean company’s products and technologies, according to a company official.
Russia is a country with growth potential where 6,000 units of construction equipment are sold every year. Doosan Infracore now dominates a 10 percent share in Russia and hopes its participation in this year’s event would help raise its market share.
The INNOPROM is Russia’s largest industrial trade fair held every year. More than 600 companies from 20 countries joined this year’s event, in which Korea was named a partner country, including Korea’s Doosan Infracore, Hyundai Motor, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Kyung Dong Navien.
