Kim Yo-jong, younger sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, arrives in South Korean via a private jet together with the highest-level delegation from Pyongyang led by nominal head of state Kim Young-nam. She is also the first member of the Kim dynasty to come to the South. The delegation was met by South Korean unification minister Cho Myung-gyun.
Kim Yo-jong, first vice director of the Central Committee of North Korea`s ruling Workers` Party, together with Choe Hwi, chairman of the country`s National Sports Guidance Committee, and Ri Son-gwon, chairman of the North`s agency that deals with inter-Korean affairs, will attend the opening ceremony at the PyeongChang Olympic Plaza on Friday evening and return to Seoul for a lunch with President Moon Jae-in on Saturday before returning home.
