The World Economic Forum (WEF) will be held on Tuesday, local time, with the world’s most powerful and influential leaders in politics, business, academia and the media invited to its 48th Annual Meeting in the alpine town of Davos, Switzerland.
The four-day event, themed “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World,” will draw participation from over 3,000 leaders including 70 heads of state or government. They include U.S. President Donald Trump who will deliver a closing address on Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Theresa May, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and 38 heads and chief executives of global businesses and international organizations.
