The secondary Kosdaq started the new year on a buoyant note, hitting a 10-year finish of 810 on the first trading day of 2018.
The tech and bio-heavy index ended Tuesday 1.76 percent higher from Dec. 28 close at 812.45. The last time the secondary market touched above 800 points was Nov. 6, 2007. The rally was led by 4.7 percent gain in bio category and 3.4 percent in pharmaceuticals.
