Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung delivers a speech on “Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” at the Maekyung Vietnam Forum held at Lotte Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam on Wednesday. He called for investment from South Korean companies in high-tech manufacturing, energy infrastructure and information communication technologies as many of Vietnam’s state-owned firms are expected go public in the coming months.
The two governments plan to further discuss areas of cooperation at the ministerial-level industrial commission and FTA commission to be held at the end of this month.
Maekyung Vietnam Forum is hosted by Korea’s largest business media Maekyung Media Group, Korea Cultural Industry Forum and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The event gathered over 300 government officials and entrepreneurs from both countries.
