U.S. President Donald Trump (left of the middle row) and S. Korean President Moon Jae-in (right of the middle row) on Tuesday are attending a luncheon with military members of both countries at U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys (Camp Humphreys) in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, as a part of show of force to North Korea. It is the first time leaders of the two traditional allies have been in a U.S. military base at the same time. Moon surprised Trump by meeting him at the camp before they were scheduled to meet at the Blue House later in the day. The extraordinary move was made as Trump is the first U.S. President to make a state visit to South Korea in 25 years. Upon his arrival at the U.S. Osan Air Base, he has been greeted by the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha and then visited Camp Humphreys with Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, the commander of U.S. Armed Forces in Korea.
