Diverse mango desserts

The Embassy of India in South Korea on Friday held an event to introduce Indian Mangoes which will be imported to Korea for the first time at the Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel. On the same day, Indian mangoes will be launched for sale at 30 E-Mart stores across Korea. A similar Mango event would also be held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Busan Saturday.

India is the world’s largest producer of mangoes. India produces over 18 million tonnes accounting for about 42 percent of the global supply of the tropical fruit. India grows over a thousand varietals of mango varietals, which differ in terms of size, flavor, texture and fragrance.
