LG Electronics said its upcoming flagship smartphone G7 ThinQ will boast an advanced speaker which is ten times louder than others.
The new audio feature is realized by Boombox Speaker technology, which increases the base sound level by more than 6dB with twice the amount of bass, according to the Korean IT giant.
The bass can be further amplified especially when the device is placed on a solid surface or box, leading to a greater resonance space than conventional smartphone speaker modules. This means it can be used as an outdoor speaker for a party and camping.
The G7 ThinQ to be released on May 2 in Korea will also use the company’s proprietary Hi-Fi Quad DAC to please high-end headphone users along with the addition of DTS:X support which brings 3D surround sound effects at up to 7.1 to the user, even with normal headphones.
